My days in Cuba!

One would never know how cuban people feel about the other human if you have get no chance to visit Cuba. Cuba is one of the best place on earth where everything is beautiful and possible; except the government system. The citizens of Cuba live their life in fear to each others. You can not ask any body about the system of the government. He/she could only advice you that we are not willing to talk about our government.

Life in Cuba is fun with a lot of joy. It's one of the best place millionaire spent their spare time in. Cuba is engulfed by the Ocean which I could not tell its name, but I swam in it for eight days. Cuban love African, and this has been shown by the fact that they have given us more opportunity to train our lovely citizens in cuba for more years. As one of my friend who work in the department of minister of tourist told me, he said that " we thought the government of South Sudan will appreciate our works, and the love we had shown to your brothers in the time you were in the struggle or need." The people of Cuba thought our government turn its back to them while they don't know that things are still not functioning as they wish.

Cuban love each others, and their revolutionary history is very interestings. The government engage its citizens in the internal politics of cuba. They had a little experiences about the outsite world or external issues facing the world. In my days, I have found that Cuban had not lost the memory of the struggle. You can find in all streets (Calle) the pictures of those who were expelled or chased a way by the current cuban administration. On streets, and all shopping centres, their names are listed and they said "Volveran" that mean they will come back. this allow cuban citizens to focus and prepare themselves for any incoming enemy. Cuba is very hot at this time. its almost about +25 0r so. People never move a way from the beach, swimming until midnight time.

One day, I and my friends stay in the Ocean until 9:30PM. While we were heading to the hotel, We met with Security patrol or curfew groups on our ways. They stopped us and asked us "where did you come from?" The other guys said, "we came from canada." I thought our question has been answered, but they asked me again. "You, where are you from?" I said, I am from canada. They said no!! You are John Garang! I said Okay, I am John Garang. I laughed and I said in my heart that its good to know this policy. Next time, my identity should be John Garang. After three days, we went for touring in Havana with the touring bus. Our bus stopped in the check point. They look at my eyes, and I laughed at them and I told them before they ask me that I am John Garang. They said "SI si;" and they did not ask me for IDs. People, if you want to enjoy, have your ticket handy and head to cuba for vacation. Make sure you have your own money in cash because they don't have western union system with us (Canada). You must also know that Cuban Pesos (convertible) are higher than Canadian and American dollars. You can change your $100 Canadian dollars with $70 pesos while $100 USD is $80 Pesos. All other things such as beer, coke, pepsis; and food are inexpnsive. you can enjoy your $5 pesos for the whole day. Food cost from the range of $1.50 pesos and the beer is $1.15. Everything is possible in Cuba except the fact that you do not have to talk about the government. Fidel Castro, the former leader's picture, is everywhere. They put his picture on clothes, on trees and even on the underwear. They believe him as a God and they said that he loves people of Cuban more than anything on earth. You want to relax and have fun, go to cuba.

God bless you! Your brother. Peter Reat Gatkuoth. www.peterreat.blogspot.com Edmonton, Canada
